Starbucks Card

Ever since I got into college, I've been a coffee drinker / tea shop girl. Caffeine is part of my life, I admit. Also the coffee shops and tea shops around Taft Avenue have I been to are really very recommendable and each of them has a very reasonable price in all their drinks. Starbucks. There are 3 Starbucks Coffee around La Salle. First in Vito Cruz itself, Second near College of Saint Benilde and lastly Starbucks near Razon Building in La Salle.

Have you heard about what's new? STARBUCKS CARD!!!
If you are really a Starbucks drinker, I am sure that this card suits for you. This card is reloadable and as you gain a particular number of beverages, you'll get a freebie!! <3
So here are some info about the card which I grabbed from https://starbuckscard.ph/SBCard.aspx

How Time Flies

It's been a long time since I had it fixed. A very long time since I first loved. It was so perfect. Wonderful. Full of hugs and kisses that even roses could be painted white for our Love's purity. It all started with "hi." And considering that I was just an ordinary 17 year old girl from South. All I know is that Love comes unexpectedly and it did for me.

It was awful.
Terribly painful when I had ended it.
But who would've known that it is your ending? Neither have I.
But after months and months of fixing myself up, having a new hairstyle and fitting in to a new environment, I realized that God has something in stored for me. Something I know that would blow me up when I face it. And that is second chance.

I promised Mom that I would finish my degrees first before I let someone in my life again... And this someone is special. But how and what if he comes early? What if I can't take it anymore? What if I mess things up again? What if I fall in love once again?

One thing I am sure of, and that is God's perfect timing.
To my future McDreamy, I promise to be the better Paula anyone could ever known.
I might be bad way back but I promise that when the right time comes, I know I'm perfect for you. ❤️

B.A.R Salon Review

Yesterday I met up with my friend Daniell at Starbucks Vito Cruz and got talking for minutes. Then as promised, he treated me in exchange of me helping him for his SPEECOM class! Hahahaah! Thanks bro! :)) well anyway! After our talk, we went to B.A.R Salon located in 3F University Mall, Taft Avenue Manila. Some meters away from LRT Vito Cruz.

Their prices are really affordable and their work is nice. I remember having my nails done here a month ago with my blockmate/bestie Anna as our bonding time. Their price ranges 100-200 PhP for nails and recently I had my eyelashes permed which costs 250.00 PhP and eyebrow threading at 80.00 PhP. This is a great deal/ a gift for myself for being able to be a Dean's Lister for this semester *claps*

So here's my newly eyebrows / permed lashes <3

Nichido Pink Matte Lipstick is the best! Hihi thanks to Mom for surprising me one!! :)

A Wonderful Thing Called Life

As you guys all know, I've been out from blogging for almost a week because a dreadful news has shocked our whole family. My grandmother, my Mom's mother, is currently in comatose due to Ischemic stroke. It was Thursday last week when my Aunt Vicky reported to my mom that she've been noticing that my grandmother has exhibiting signs of it. For the record, my grandmother had a mild stroke way back 2005 where she got confined for a couple of days at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Mandaluyong. During the call, my mother became very uneasy because she thinks that there's something wrong. At the afternoon, while having lunch, my Aunt Vicky told us that grandma had taken a lot of rice and fish for lunch, where she had been very happy because it's delicious. So my Aunt just didn't mind it. Since afternoon naps are common for old people hours after they had their lunch meal, my grandma took her nap at 2:30pm and haven't been awaken till now. My grandfather who'd seen my grandma that after she mildly slapped her, hasn't been awaken. So grandpa called my Aunt Vicky's attention to wake grandma. But they failed to. SO they rushed her at the nearest hospital.

How I was able to find it out.
I was with my college friends, having our late dinner/get together at a coffeeshop-restaurant nearby where I'll get a ride back home easily. It was 8:30pm and I noticed that my Mom haven't called me nor texted me where I am. So I thought that they're just busy with somethin. (which I didn't know that they've been praying for my grandma's safety and recovery!!) so as I was walking to my room I saw my Mom. She looks haggard and uneasy. Then she told me what happened. Afterwards, I went to my room like a lightning and then I cried coz my grandma has been with me more than my mom. Wayback I was born, my parents were both employed and there was no one to take care of me. So for 6 years, me and my younger sister Grace, were taken of by my grandma.

We won't know what will happen. But I guess it's gonna be a plus plus point for my grandma's life coz she turned 80 years old just this year and we all know that it is sooo beyond a person's lifespan. However I still want my grandma. I want her to see me graduate and be a doctor. Though she and my grandpa wants me to be a laywer. Anyway, Let's pray for her fast recovery and may she wake up reaaaaal soon.

My new Maxfactor Lipstick

Since waking up make me look pale, how about the timing of I'm about to go to bed? Hahaha :)

If ever you'll go out with your dark colored top, a dark shade of lipstick is a good choice. It makes you look more mature, brings out the fair skin of yours, and brightens your smile :)

The truth

This is sad but true. Time heals every breken heart. Turn away from the past and as you move forward, never hurt youself from looking back because all the memories, good or bad, will flashed back and you'll get hurt instantly. But however it may turn out, the problem is still there. Instead of thinking what you have done wrong, or what could have/ would have done or happen, think of something that will distract you in thinking of those. Youself is your bestfriend. Take care of yourself for the meantime. Maybe you just didn't got time for yourself that much that's why things happened gone upside down. We might think that in this purpose we could have better answers to our questions if we do this particular action. But few of those became or tuned out great.

Before we decide to do stuff, we should think twice or even hundreds of times for us to anticipate what will happen. So that when the negative happening occurs, we can think for a back up or better yet a solution.

Always remember, God is always in control. He will never forsake you nor let bad things happen to you or outrun you. You can face it because He knows that you can! Faith in God includes faith in His timing  as what in the book of Habbakuk tells :)

Canyon Cove Getaway!

Since all of us in the family are all tired because of stress in school, work and people a family bonding slash getaway is a must to get relieved. In our case, we chose Canyon Cove in Nasugbu, Batangas. just a few kilometers away from Tagaytay and it would be advisable if you are coming from south, just take the expressway :) In our trip we passed by Muntinlupa, Paranaque, Cavite, Laguna, Tagaytay and of course Batangas <3 When we got to Batangas, the bayan namely Nasugbu, I literally craving for some kapeng barako because the temperature in the area is quite lower than the Metro's.

This is what welcomed us as we get sunkissed with our bikini's and boxers on! Hahaa I wish I had with me my friends, my boyfriend and my other relatives because of the beautiful place I am at.

With my Mum, my sister Grace, my future sister-in-law Mhy, my youngest sister Marie and of course Me :)

Getting ready for this lovely pool!
